Justin de Nooijer is a food and music photographer based in the Netherlands, as much at home in a restaurant kitchen as in front of the stage (and, in a past life, on it).

His work revolves around emotion: the feeling of a moment, captured as it happens and held in a single still image. No studio lights, no staging and no heavy retouching afterwards. What you see stays true to the light, the colour and the atmosphere of the moment, both behind the camera and in post-production.

For those who were there, his photographs are instantly recognisable. For those who weren't, they're a seat at the chef's table and a spot in the front row.
